Womic Stainless Steel Co., Ltd
Corrosion Resistance: Excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride-containing environments, seawater, and aggressive chemical media, thanks to 2–3% molybdenum content.
Bidirectional Shut-Off: Full port design provides minimal pressure drop and reliable bubble-tight shut-off in both flow directions.
Low Operating Torque: Precision-machined ball and PTFE/RTFE seats provide smooth quarter-turn operation with low torque requirements.
Fire-Safe Design: Available with fire-safe certification (API 607/ISO 10497) for critical applications.
Multiple End Connections: Flanged (ASME B16.5), threaded (NPT/BSP), socket weld (SW), butt weld (BW), and wafer/lug type connections.
Anti-Static Device: Optional anti-static design to prevent static electricity accumulation across the valve.
Blow-Out Proof Stem: Stem design prevents accidental blow-out under pressure, ensuring operator safety.
Full Range of Types: Floating ball (1/2″–12″), trunnion mounted (2″–48″), three-piece (1/4″–6″), top entry, and V-port control ball valves.
Pressure Ratings: Available in Class 150, 300, 600, 900, 1500 (PN16 to PN260) and 1000/2000/3000/6000 WOG.

Complete documentation including MTR, test reports, and certifications.
1. What is the difference between
316 and 316L ball valves?
316L has lower carbon (≤0.03% vs ≤0.08%), providing better resistance to
intergranular corrosion after welding. For welded end valves or service in
sensitizing temperature range, 316L is preferred.
2. What is WOG pressure rating?
WOG stands for Water, Oil, Gas – the maximum working pressure at ambient
temperature. For 316 stainless steel ball valves, ratings range from 1000 psi
to 6000 psi depending on valve design.
3. Are these valves suitable for
sour service (H₂S)?
Yes, 316L ball valves with hardness control (≤22 HRC) can be NACE MR0175 / ISO
15156 compliant for sour service. Full documentation available.
4. What is the maximum temperature
for PTFE seated valves?
PTFE seated valves are rated to 180°C (356°F). For higher temperatures, PEEK
(260°C) or metal-seated (600°C) valves are available.
5. Do you provide fire-safe
certified valves?
Yes, our 316/316L ball valves can be manufactured with API 607 / ISO 10497
fire-safe certification. Fire-safe test reports included.
6. What actuation options are
available?
Manual lever, gear operator, pneumatic (double acting/spring return), electric
(on-off/modulating), and hydraulic actuators.
7. What is the difference between
full port and reduced port?
Full port ball valve has ball bore same as pipe ID, minimizing pressure drop.
Reduced port has smaller ball bore, reducing cost and torque but increasing
pressure drop.
Complete Product Range: Floating, trunnion, three-piece, top entry, V-port, multi-port – all types available.
Strict Quality Control: ISO 9001:2015, API 6D, PED 2014/68/EU certified.
Fire-Safe Certified: API 607 / ISO 10497 fire-safe testing available.
NACE MR0175 Compliant: Full documentation for sour service applications.
100% Pressure Tested: Hydrostatic shell and seat tests on every valve.
Full Traceability: Heat number stamped – traceable to raw material.
Flexible Customization: Special end connections, extended stem, locking device, actuation.
Global Delivery: Exported to over 50 countries.
