Womic Stainless Steel Co., Ltd
Superior Flow Regulation: Disc-to-seat ring design provides excellent throttling capability for flow control and pressure regulation applications.
Corrosion Resistance: Excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride-containing environments, seawater, and aggressive chemical media, thanks to 2–3% molybdenum content.
Bidirectional Shut-Off: Provides reliable bubble-tight shut-off in one direction (flow under disc recommended for high pressure).
Multiple Disc Types: Available with flat disc, composition disc, plug disc, or needle disc for different throttling requirements.
Rising Stem Design: External stem threads provide visual indication of valve position and prevent stem thread contamination.
Backseating Capability: Full backseating allows stem seal replacement under pressure when valve is fully open.
Multiple End Connections: Flanged (ASME B16.5), threaded (NPT/BSP), socket weld (SW), and butt weld (BW).
Full Range of Types: Bolted bonnet (Class 150-600), pressure seal bonnet (Class 600-2500), bellows seal (Class 150-300), and Y-pattern globe valves.
Pressure Ratings: Available in Class 150, 300, 600, 900, 1500, and 2500 (PN16 to PN420).
Temperature Range: Suitable for -196°C to 550°C (-320°F to 1022°F) depending on trim material.
International Certifications: Valves can be certified by ABS, BV, DNV, LR, GL, RINA, CCS, KR, and NK, and comply with API 623, ASME B16.34, and NACE MR0175 standards.

Painting/Coating: External coating (epoxy or blue PTFE) for corrosion protection.
Pressure Testing: 100% hydrostatic shell test (1.5× rated pressure), high-pressure seat test (1.1× rated pressure), low-pressure air seat test (80 psi, bubble-tight).
Material Verification: PMI (Positive Material Identification) for body, bonnet, disc, stem.
Dimensional Inspection: Face-to-face, flange dimensions, seat ring alignment using calibrated instruments.
Leakage Testing: API 598 / ISO 5208 – Rate A (zero detectable leakage for soft seat).
Hardness Testing: Seat ring and disc hardness verification.
NACE Compliance: Hardness testing (≤22 HRC for 316).

1. What is the
difference between a globe valve and a gate valve?
Globe valves are designed for throttling and flow regulation. Gate valves are
designed for fully open or fully closed (isolation) service. Globe valves have
higher pressure drop but better flow control capability.
2. Which direction
should a globe valve be installed?
For high pressure applications, install with pressure under the disc (flow
direction arrow on body). For low pressure, installation may be either
direction. Standard is flow up through the seat.
3. What is the difference
between bolted bonnet and pressure seal globe valves?
Bolted bonnet (Class 150-600) uses bolted flange connection. Pressure seal
(Class 600-2500) uses body-bonnet pressure sealing that increases sealing force
with internal pressure – used for high pressure, high temperature.
4. What is a bellows
seal globe valve used for?
Bellows seal globe valves provide zero stem leakage, used for toxic, hazardous,
or expensive fluids where environmental protection is required.
5. Y-pattern globe
valves vs standard globe valves?
Y-pattern has stem at 45° angle, providing less flow resistance, lower pressure drop, and is better for high pressure drop and frequent cycling applications.
Complete Product Range: Bolted bonnet, pressure seal, bellows seal, Y-pattern, angle, needle – all types available.
Strict Quality Control: API 623, ISO 9001, PED certified.
NACE MR0175 Compliant: Full documentation for sour service applications.
100% Pressure Tested: Hydrostatic shell and seat tests on every valve.
Full Traceability: Heat number on body – traceable to raw material.
Flexible Customization: Special trims, hardfacing, extended stem, locking device, gear operator.
Global Delivery: Exported to over 50 countries.
