WCC has slightly higher carbon content and higher strength than WCB. For most
control valve applications, WCC and WCB are interchangeable. WCC is specified
for higher pressure and temperature service.

316L trim provides excellent wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and galling
resistance for the plug and seat. The carbon steel body provides structural
strength at lower cost. This combination is standard for the industry.

quick opening, linear, and equal percentage trim?
Quick opening – maximum flow at low stroke (on-off). Linear – flow proportional
to stroke (level control). Equal percentage – flow increases exponentially with
stroke (pressure/temperature control). Most process control applications use

4. What is cage-guided valve?
Cage-guided valve has a perforated cage around the plug, providing stability,
guiding, and flow characterization. Advantages include: higher pressure drop

Class IV (metal seat): 0.01% of rated Cv – for general service with allowable
