All super duplex 2507 fittings are solution annealed at 1050–1120°C followed by immediate water quenching (delay less than 30 seconds). This treatment restores the balanced ferrite-austenite microstructure (40–60% ferrite), dissolves intermetallic phases, and ensures maximum corrosion resistance.
