Womic Stainless Steel Co., Ltd
Corrosion Resistance: Excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride-containing environments, seawater, and aggressive chemical media.
Weldability and Formability: The low carbon content of 316L prevents intergranular corrosion after welding; fittings are available in butt-weld (BW), socket-weld (SW), and threaded (NPT) connections.
Full Range of Types: Elbows (45°/90°/180°), tees (equal/reducing), reducers (concentric/eccentric), caps, stub ends, crosses, and nipples.
Mechanical Strength: High tensile and yield strength combined with good ductility, suitable for high-pressure pipelines and critical structural joints.
International Certifications: Fittings can be certified by ABS, BV, DNV, LR, GL, RINA, CCS, KR, and NK, and comply with NORSOK standards for offshore projects.
Womic Steel produces stainless steel pipe fittings in strict accordance with the following international standards, ensuring global acceptance and compliance:

Condition:
All fittings are solution annealed at 1040–1080°C followed by rapid cooling
(water quenching). This treatment restores full corrosion resistance, relieves
internal stresses, and enhances ductility, ensuring reliable performance in
demanding chemical, marine, and offshore applications.

1. What is the difference between
316 and 316L stainless steel pipe fittings?
The main difference is carbon content. 316L has lower carbon (≤0.03%) which prevents
carbide precipitation during welding, making it more resistant to intergranular
corrosion. For most welded applications, 316L is preferred.
2. Can you provide fittings with
special bevels or non-standard dimensions?
Yes. Womic Steel offers full customization – special bevel angles, short/long
patterns, and custom wall thicknesses. Contact us with your drawing or
specification.
3. Do you provide material test
reports (MTR) and third-party inspection?
Yes. Every shipment includes EN 10204 3.1 MTR (mill test certificate).
Third-party inspection by SGS, BV, DNV, or TUV can be arranged at customer
request.
4. What is the typical lead time
for 316/316L stainless steel fittings?
Stock sizes: 1–3 days. Custom sizes/ non-standard materials: 2–4 weeks
depending on quantity and complexity.
5. Are your fittings suitable for
offshore / marine applications?
Absolutely. Our 316/316L fittings offer excellent seawater corrosion
resistance. We can supply fittings with ABS, DNV, LR, BV, and other
classification society certificates.
6. What is the maximum pressure
rating for socket weld fittings in 316L?
For 3000LB class socket weld fittings, the maximum pressure rating at ambient
temperature is approximately 2085 psig. For 6000LB, it is 4170 psig. Always
refer to ASME B16.11 for exact de-rating at elevated temperatures.
Complete Product Range: Butt-weld, socket-weld, and threaded fittings – one-stop purchasing.
Strict Quality Control: ISO 9001, PED 2014/68/EU, and API Q1 certified.
Advanced Production Lines: Multiple fully automatic hydraulic push lines and CNC machining centers.
Full Traceability: From heat number to finished fitting – traceable back to raw material.
Flexible Customization: Non-standard sizes, special bevels, exotic materials (duplex / nickel alloys) available.
Global Delivery: Exported to over 50 countries including Middle East, Southeast Asia, Europe, and South America.
