Alloy 625 (Inconel 625) Steel Pipe Fittings for Extreme Seawater and High-Temperature Corrosive Service

High-Performance Alloy 625 (UNS N06625) Steel Pipe Fittings for Deepwater Umbilicals, Thermal Oxidizers, and Seawater Systems

Womic Steel manufactures premium Alloy 625 (Inconel 625) Steel Pipe Fittings, covering elbows, tees, reducers, caps, stub ends, crosses, and nipples. Our nickel-chromium-molybdenum-niobium alloy fittings provide outstanding resistance to pitting (PRE ≥ 45), seawater corrosion, and high-temperature oxidation up to 980°C (1800°F). With high strength (YS ≥ 415 MPa) and excellent weldability, they are the ideal choice for subsea umbilicals, seawater lift pump connectors, thermal oxidizer tubes, chemical injection lines, and aerospace hydraulic systems.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. How does Alloy 625 differ from Alloy 825?
625 has higher Mo (8-10% vs 2.5-3.5%), higher PRE, and higher strength. Used in more severe seawater and high-temperature oxidizing service.

2. Can Alloy 625 fittings be welded to stainless steel?
Yes, use ERNiCrMo-3 filler; proper overlay or buttering recommended.

3. Is 625 resistant to hydrochloric acid?
Good for dilute HCl; concentrated HCl requires Hastelloy C276.
