Treatment Condition:
Alloy 625 fittings are solution annealed at 1095–1205°C followed by
water quenching. This treatment restores corrosion resistance and ductility.

1. How
does Alloy 625 differ from Alloy 825?
625 has higher Mo (8-10% vs 2.5-3.5%), higher PRE, and higher strength. Used in
more severe seawater and high-temperature oxidizing service.
2. Can
Alloy 625 fittings be welded to stainless steel?
Yes, use ERNiCrMo-3 filler; proper overlay or buttering recommended.
3. Is 625
resistant to hydrochloric acid?
Good for dilute HCl; concentrated HCl requires Hastelloy C276.
Premium Mill Sources: Special Metals, VDM.
Deep Experience: Subsea umbilical fittings, aerospace.
Full Traceability: Heat number to finished fitting.
Fast Custom Production: Engineered-to-order available.
